Talking Points

At the age of 31 I have finally registered to vote. I wanted to vote this election because I do not think either candidate will make great change for this country, but to vote for the one I believe will do the least damage. I have viewed most of the past elections the same way. It's sad that we have not had an inspirational leader in decades in my opinion. The spewing of talk points instead of real thoughts of their own. They say this is the most important election in our lifetime and I hope whoever wins proves me wrong and repairs this country for now and the future. Most likely they will have their hands bound by bi partisan nonsense. So we will continue to circle the drain. Hope you have your life vest because I think it will get much worse, before it gets better.

Still Alive

So, its been a long, long, long time. Well I'm still married (by the way I got married). It has been a little over a year and a half and all goes well. We got a dog, I got to name her so her name is Shea. I will try to post more, something interesting will happen soon, and now I remember my sign on and password for this damn thing.

The mind of Mackie

I was going to do a sililoquy on the Food Network, but someone beat me to it. So I had to figure out another topic. I have an extremly life altering year ahead of me. I have found the woman I am going to spend my life with. Up to the point that I met her I could never really even imagine that I would ever be that guy on an alter. Amazingly, I'm not scared or nervous about getting married. Maybe as the date draws closer (10/14/06) it will start to become more nerve racking but, you gotta take it day by day.

SUPERSLACKIE

Happy New Year to all. I spent the eve at my local watering hole Cue and Brew. Not to crowded, cold bear, and familiar faces. My fiance was with me and that was all I needed. This year I will be married. Only ten months left and I'm excited not scared as I always thought I would be. So, this should be one of the better years of my life. So I hope all who read this have a wonderfull year. I know it will one of those years I'll remeber forever.

I'm not sure

I just did this so I can mock a friend. So I'm not sure what I'm doing.
